Program 07

Church Planting & Nurturing

City communities & rural areas — Ghana & Africa

CMHDA establishes churches in new and developing communities — both in the city and in rural areas. We collaborate with churches and other Christian organisations to carry out a three-part mission:

Evangelism

Presenting Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord to every person in every community we serve.

Discipleship & Church Strengthening

Assisting Christians in their submission to Christ and growth in His body — building healthy, rooted local churches.

Holistic Ministry

Ministering in the name of Christ to the whole person — especially the homeless, orphans, widows, and retired pastors in rural communities.

Leadership Development

Assisting church leaders with their training needs to produce Bible-based, Christ-centred, Spirit-led churches across Ghana and Africa.

Program 08

Children, Teen & Youth

Communities, schools & streets — Ghana

Children, Teen and Youth
"In the same way your Father is not willing that any of these little ones should perish." — Matthew 18:14

Investing in children, teens and youths is at the heart of CMHDA's mission. We believe that reaching the next generation — children, teenagers, and young adults — is essential in building a godly and transformed society. Through dedicated outreach and discipleship, we pour into the lives of young people across Ghana.

Proclaiming

Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children, teens and youths — presenting the message of salvation and hope in every community we serve.

Teaching

Teaching God's Word and biblical principles to young people, grounding them in the truth and equipping them to live Christ-centred lives.

Training

Training children, teens and youths in practical skills, leadership, and spiritual disciplines that prepare them for faithful service.

Equipping

Equipping young people with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to stand firm in their faith and become agents of change.

Supporting

Supporting the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of children, teens and youths through care, counselling, and community programmes.

Recruitment of Christian Volunteers

Recruiting and mobilising committed Christian volunteers who mentor, disciple, and walk alongside children, teens and youths in their journey of faith.

Program 09

Literature Distribution

Churches, communities & individuals — across cultures & languages

The primary objective of CMHDA's Literature Distribution ministry is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people of different cultures, languages, social positions, and religious backgrounds.

This ministry supports churches, local ministries, private distributors, and Christian organisations by supplying them with Bible-based Christian literature for individual church and community use.

Bible-Based Literature

Supplying Bibles, New Testaments, and biblically grounded resources to churches and ministries.

Correspondence Courses

Bible correspondence courses and suitable literature offered for personal study — for any age and any background.

All Cultures & Languages

Bridging cultural and language barriers so people from all walks of life can encounter the Gospel and grow in faith.

Leadership Training Programs

In partnership with Re-Forma & World Evangelical Alliance — Africa

Leadership Training
90%+ of pastors without formal theological education
2M+ Protestant pastors worldwide affected

CMHDA is in partnership with Re-Forma — a leadership training institute affiliated with the World Evangelical Alliance — under the direction of Dr. Reuben Van Rensburg, project manager for Africa.

Studies show that over 90% of all pastors worldwide do not have a formal theological education, equating to over 2 million Protestant pastors. Every year, thousands of new Protestant churches are established — very often without a trained pastor or preacher.

The biggest crisis facing the global evangelical church is that most pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders are under-educated or not educated at all. Re-Forma has set its goal to fundamentally remedy this situation — and CMHDA is proud to carry this mission into Ghana and Africa.

Community Development

Urban & rural communities — Ghana

Christian Community Development is a holistic philosophy of ministry. It deals with the spiritual, social, economic, political, cultural, moral, judicial, educational, and familial dimensions of each person's life — refusing to reduce human need to a single category.

We all sense that the world is not as it should be. As Christians, we focus on a person's relationship with Jesus — because the most essential element of community development is evangelism and discipleship. Yet solving problems with lasting solutions requires more than evangelism alone.
